Complementary therapies for mind, body and spirit in South Bristol since 1989.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in Bedminster, South Bristol, the Centre for Whole Health offers a range of complementary therapies and experienced practitioners in four ground floor therapy rooms.
Among the most popular therapies currently being offered are Osteopathy, Acupuncture, and Counselling.

Ground Floor

Our peaceful ground floor has ramp access, and a calm reception area for you to wait for your appointment.

There is a selection of toys available for children, as well as some reading material and local magazines.

We also have a small courtyard area with plants and flowers out the back.

Practice Rooms

We have four lovely practice rooms on the ground floor, suitable for all types of treatments.
All rooms are accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs and have access to our WiFi.

Room One benefits from an electric couch and plenty of floor space, and is most often used for acupuncture, shiatsu, and massage. Room Two is often used for acupuncture, and overlooks the courtyard. Room Three is our counselling and therapy room, perfect for one-to-one sessions. Room Four (pictured) is home to The Courtyard Osteopaths, and has a lovely view over the courtyard.

Hall

There is a bright and spacious hall on the first floor. This is a space for regular courses in Tai Chi, Yoga, Shiatsu, Massage and other activities.

If you are interested in hiring out this bright, welcoming space please see our contact page for our best methods of communication.

Cafe

On the first floor we have a kitchen and eating area, open for all users of the Centre.

Feel free to make yourself a tea or coffee from our range, with an honest box for paying in. We regularly top up a range of healthier snacks including crisps, chocolate and nut bars provided by Essential Trading.

We stock soya milk.

Lam Rim Buddhist Centre

The second floor is home to the Lam Rim Bristol Buddhist Centre, where there is a Buddhist shrine room. This offers ongoing evening sessions of meditation, teaching and discussion, with occasional weekend courses.

The Centre for Whole Health was founded by, and shares the building with the Lam Rim Bristol Buddhist Centre. Since 1989 it has been bringing good health to the people of Bristol and beyond.
The Centre is a not-for-profit company that supports the Buddhist Charity. It shares the primary Buddhist aims of reducing pain and alleviating suffering in others.
