FERTILITY and PREGNANCY

Deb works with women and men who are trying to conceive naturally and with those using assisted fertility treatments  ( IUI, IVF, ICSI, GIFT ). If women are pregnant, she can continue to work with couples to support the ongoing pregnancy and issues related like morning sickness , backache, oedema, urinary problems and constipation.  Many women find that keeping themselves relaxed throughout the pregnancy can help facilitate a happy pregnancy and a positive birthing experience. Acupuncture can be used to stimulate the arrival of the baby once the due date has arrived.

GYNAECOLOGY

Deb wants women to feel well and positive at each stage of life, from menarche to menopause and beyond. She works with women that experience a variety of problems, such as painful  periods, PMT, ovulation pain, irregular periods, scanty or heavy periods, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids,  post birth problems and menopausal symptoms.

MENTAL and EMOTIONAL HEALTH

With her first degree in Psychology, Deb has a particular interest in a persons’ emotional and mental wellbeing, which she feels is essential to physical good health . Whilst addressing difficult situations and stresses in a persons life, and with a special interest in anxiety and panic attacks, she also looks at key emotions that people face thought their life times such as grief, fear, sadness, shame, anger and guilt. Her training in Five Element Acupuncture looks at the constitutional type of a person and identifies the essential organs, emotions and issues that are most likely to get out of balance in a person. By addressing these components with needles, and supporting the person with their Element, many find they feel a deeper sense of emotional wellness.

ACUPUNCTURE and AGEING

Many use Acupuncture to focus on keeping a person’s mind positive and their body as mobile, productive and pain free as possible thought life and in to older age.  Many people find that Acupuncture can help stimulate the body’s immune system and clients experience ease with long standing  issues such as arthritis and back pain. Clients have felt an improvement with how well they sleep and in their overall energy.  Evidence suggest that  Acupuncture can be effective and ease some of the symptoms caused by treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
